Sometimes we get so caught up in our busy lives that we forget how much God really loves us. We get bogged down with what we think is most important and neglect the One that gives us the strength and sanity to be able to accomplish all that we do. I believe it is very difficult to grow in your purpose and withstand the trials that come to prove you as one of God's children if you don't understand God's love for you. God loves you as if you were the only one. The hairs on your head are numbered and He's constantly thinking about you He has more thoughts towards you than the sand in the earth. The same God that determines the number of stars and calls them each by name! Psalm 147:4 He is constantly calling us out of our comfort zone because that is where all the constant blessings are taking place outside of mediocrity.
That is quite extraordinary to have someone of that power and magnitude be concerned with your well-being every second of the day. So do not be surprised or think it is "strange" when blessings big and small begin to occur more and more frequently in your life. Some events will take place that will leave you speechless you will try to share it with others and they just won't understand why it meant so much to you but God does. If you can acknowledge God in the small things you will know for sure it was Him that performed the big miracles as well. The inspiration for the title of this post came earlier in the week as I was sitting outside preparing for my Trig exam. Earlier that morning I prayed and asked God to let me feel His love so strongly that I pour it out on others and in a new way. As I was sitting outside on campus a young lady whom I noticed off in the distance but had never seen before, came up to me greeted me and let me know that God loves me. Wow! I knew that God had sent her so I had to give her a hug. lol We continued to chat for a few minutes thereafter and off she went on to continue doing whatever it was she had planned for the day.
Along with the warm fuzzy moments come trials to test your faith and even haters or nay-Sayers to try and throw you off your focus and disrupt your momentum. The reality is everybody is not going to support your decisions or even give you a word of encouragement or sound advice but instead some would rather talk you out of moving onward and upward. During times when you feel the present circumstances you're facing are unfair or not yet changing for the better you also should not be surprised or think it is "strange" that you are having to withstand a fiery trial as the bible puts it... "as though something strange has happened to you." 1 Peter 4:12 Christ was the most misunderstood perfect person to walk this earth and He too had a God-given purpose to fulfill. Be grateful for the trials as well as the blessings because they are key indications that you too are living your life on purpose.
