Hi,
I'm Odrayona. I have a 2 year old son whose name is Kingston :). I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree at the Florida State University. I am currently classified as a Junior. My major area of concentration is in International Affairs however, I am also completing all of the prerequisite courses required to matriculate into Dental school. This journey thus far has been humbling and extremely inspirational to say the least. I am grateful for this experience because it has been the single event that has opened my eyes the most to the power of God in my life. Each day I am led into what I know is my destiny or fulfilling the calling that is upon my life. Each day I am blessed with unexplainable blessings that continue to sustain my peace of mind in knowing that I am living my LIFE ON PURPOSE. At the start of this journey I was uncertain about what the outcome would be, whether I would have exactly what it takes to become a doctor and face the challenges and academic rigor that was to come ahead of me. That same uncertainty was also the beautiful driving force that continues to propel me into the life I was born to live, each day. Ephesians 3:20 describes the power of this uncertainty in our lives according to the only true living God who is able to sustain us and accomplish through us far more than our human intellect is capable of conceiving.
Because I am an avid watcher of Oprah's Super Soul Sunday I learned about a few books over the summer that have helped me to better understand how to tap into the presence of God anywhere at anytime, through prayer and meditation. No one is perfect and because of this we all need God's grace to renew His incredible mercies upon any situation we may encounter throughout the day, each morning. In fact a very liberating lesson in truly understanding this is realizing that RIGHT NOW is the only moment we ever truly have to accomplish our dreams and become exceptionally great within the will of God and the plan He has for our lives. I've heard time and time again that if you can achieve your vision solely by your strength, understanding, and power alone then it isn't from God. If you have a goal that is larger than life and you have no clue how it is going to manifest into reality then, CONGRATULATIONS! You are in the hands of THE INFINITELY ABLE and most gracious living God who will accomplish the good work He has started in you all you have to do is believe and have faith. His ways of thinking are higher than ours and His will is always perfect. All that we have to do is trust Him daily and He will renew our strength. Take peace in knowing that where you are right now is exactly where you are supposed to be. Our view of success is great, material things can be a lot of fun and almost everyone desires to be successful, but to lose your true sense of peace, joy, and inner fulfillment on the road to "your mind's view of success" would be the real tragedy. The Good news is you CAN have it all just first seek the Kingdom. Matthew 6:33
Ultimately the power lies in you and knowing... "that I can do ALL things through Him who strengthens me". Philippians 4:13
