Hello lovely readers.
Hopefully you all are enjoying your long weekend break from work or school and have had plenty of time to get a head start on preparing for the rest of your week! I wanted to acknowledge and honor all of our military veterans and fallen soldiers. I grew up as a military brat and was always exposed to the military family lifestyle. Growing up in the military I was able to learn how to adapt to my new living surroundings (because we moved to new military stations frequently) and I was also fortunate to learn how to interact with people from all different walks of life. I have always and will continue to pay my respect to these incredibly brave men and women. Growing up on the military base many of my friends also had parents in the military, majority if not all of our parents were deployed during times of combat and times of peace keeping. Some of our parents made it back to us and the great country they fought for after being deployed in far away countries protecting the borders of their homeland for themselves, loved ones, and strangers alike. Unfortunately, we also know many brave soldiers that we've lost in combat that will not return and lay eyes on, give hugs to, or kiss their loved ones. Today, we pay great homage, and show gratitude to these selfless individuals who fight courageously, relentlessly, and honorably so that we are able to freely chose to live our lives as we please. If you know a veteran who is no longer with us please take time today and reflect on a great memory you may have of them. God bless and talk to you all soon!
