Sooo (to no surprise of my own) trig is my "put in the most effort" class. However, if you know me then you know MATH is not my strongest subject. In fact it. is. my. weakest. Math has held me back in my college career because I used to put off taking the necessary pre-req math courses until I had no other classes I could really take. I did that all because when I sit in lecture during a math class I understand everything (because the professor is walking through examples and everybody understands during the instructions right? lol) I'm the type that completely understands the problem and feeling confident until its my turn to solve the problem on my own minus my notes and I forget which step should i take first lol and everything would go downhill from there. smh
It is so true you really can learn anything because ..If you were one of the great ppl that tutored me before in the past in the math area then you know me being enrolled in trig and actually hanging in there is a miracle in itself.
I've been going to get extra help at my professor's office during her office hours and I can really tell the difference in how much more quickly I am grasping the concepts while getting that extra one-on-one time. #TheStruggleIsREAL :) Luckily she is patient and she encourages us to take advantage of her office hours. In spite of my math struggles, I am surprised to say that Trig might be the one and only math class that I actually enjoy. I have a few algebra skills to brush up on (learned that also while in her office hours btw) otherwise I'm actually understanding what is going on. Remember... "in all your getting, get an UNDERSTANDING."
I practice the questions she posts online for each day after the lecture from that day and practice two or three times. Then I use Khanacademy.org to brush up on any particular concept(s) I feel that I need to brush up on and that website is a great tool! If you are not using this site already I recommend it to anybody for extra help and problem drills. Sal (the founder of the site) covers a wide variety of subjects ranging from Art, Math, Science etc. Not to mention I like to listen to his voice. lol

Yep, this video sums it all up!
